Health Master Vs Vitamix – Which One Is The Winner?
It is not hard to see why somebody would want to compare the Health Master Vs Vitamix machines. Both these blenders virtually do the same thing, they both liquefy food and can create hot soups or cold ice cream with ease. The features of both the Health Master vs Vitamix are also almost the same – both have a powerful 2 horsepower motor to quickly blend food without waste and retaining all the nutrients naturally found the the fruits or vegetables.
Both the Vitamix and Health Master machines weight about the same but the Health Master has a slightly larger container – 70 ounces vs the 64 ounces the Vitamix comes with.
The Vitamix container is made of BPA free plastic but it is unclear what type of plastic the Health Master container is made of, all the description states is that it is Polycarbonate.
The Vitamix blender has a manual operating system where you turn up a dial to select the speed you desire and then have to turn it off yourself with the switch once the desired consistency has been reached by the foods in the container.
The Health Master meanwhile has a digital display and can be programmed to turn itself off with a countdown timer of your choosing, if you want the machine to blend for eight minutes then you simply increase the time to eight minutes and the blender will continue until it has reached zero. Both models have a pulse feature that can be used with the flick of a switch.

Health Master Vs Vitamix Safety Features
One unique safety feature of the Health Master is that the blender won’t actually start unless the cap on the lid has been put in place followed by the lid on the container and then the container must be placed on the base and locked in to place before the machine can be started. The Vitamix doesn’t have this nice safety feature.
Both the Vitamix and the Health Master come with tampers that help mix up very thick mixtures such as ice cream although the Health master manual says you should only use it for 25 seconds at a time otherwise the engine could overheat. The Vitamix does not make any mention of this been a problem with their machine.
The Vitamix comes with a 7 year full warranty while the Health Master comes with a lifetime warranty of the motor. obviously those warranties are worded differently and while the Vitamix warranty covers not only the motor but the rest of the product the Health master only covers the motor but considering you are unlikely to break the very tough carafe or the steel blades the motor is the main concern.
Health Master Vs Vitamix Price Difference
Finally, the price of both the Health Master vs Vitamix is quite different. The Health Master comes in two models – the classic and the pro. The classic model is 200 dollars plus shipping and handling.
The Pro version of the Health Master is an additional 40 dollars and then shipping is usually around 30 dollars plus taxes.
Meanwhile the Vitamix basic model is the 4500 version and runs around the $400 mark. There is also a more advanced 5200 model that currently sells for 450 dollars plus shipping.
I have personally tried both and considering the price difference I feel the Health Master blender is just as good if not better than the Vitamix.
